Woodforde’s Brewery scoop two prizes in CAMRA 2018 Beer of the Year awards

We're delighted to have added more awards to our collection as Mardler’s Mild wins Gold and Nelson’s Revenge wins Silver at the Norfolk and Norwich Campaign For Real Ale (CAMRA) 2018 Beer of the Year competition.

Mardler’s was named as Gold winner in the mild category. The mild beer takes its name from the Norfolk dialect – ‘to chat’. With an ABV of just 3.5% the delicate sweet roasted malts and low hop taste makes Mardler’s a beer worth talking about.

In the Best Bitter category, Nelson’s Revenge picked up the Silver award for Norfolk. At 4.5% ABV, Nelson’s is a Norfolk beer, and has glory in the taste and aromas of citrus, full of Norfolk malt paying homage to Admiral Nelson and his crew.

“The opinion of CAMRA drinkers is really important to us, since they’re so passionate about real ale” says Judi-mae Alderton, Head of Marketing. “We are really pleased with these results."
